This policy explains what information Navigate Rentals & Property Management ("Navigate Rentals," "we," "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Your reservation is also governed by our Vacation Rental Policies & Terms.

Information you give us

• When you book a stay: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates and number of guests, plus payment details (see "Payments" below).
• When you contact us or request a rental projection: your name, email address and phone number, plus anything you choose to share, such as a property address, a link to your current listing, the services you're interested in and your message.
• When you use the rental projection tool: the property address you enter and details like bedrooms and bathrooms.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to operate and secure the site.
• Abuse prevention. We briefly use your IP address to limit repeated requests to some features, such as the rental projection tool. This is held in memory and not stored with your other information.
• Browser storage. The site remembers a few display preferences on your device, such as whether you left the map open on the Stays page.

We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't use third-party analytics or tracking on this website. The only cookies we set are for staff signing in to manage the site.

How we use your information

• To confirm and manage your reservation and communicate with you before, during and after your stay.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To answer your questions and prepare rental projections or management proposals you request.
• To operate, secure and improve this website.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Payments

Card details are entered into a secure payment form provided by our payment processor (Stripe or GuestyPay, depending on the home). Your card number goes directly to the processor; we receive a token to complete your booking and never store your full card number.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business and this website, and only as needed:

• Guesty, our property management and reservation system, which receives booking details to create and manage your reservation.
• Stripe and GuestyPay, to process payments.
• Google, which suggests addresses as you type in the rental projection tool and provides the places shown in our Local Guide.
• BNBCalc, which receives a property address and its size to produce rental income estimates.
• Our hosting and database providers, which store the information you submit through our forms.
• Property owners, who may receive reservation details for stays at their homes.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our guests, owners, team or others, or as part of a business transfer.

Other websites

Some links take you to other websites, such as our tenant and owner portals (AppFolio), rental applications and our social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Maps and some images on this site load from third-party services, which receive standard technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests them.

Guest reviews

We show excerpts of public guest reviews from Airbnb with the reviewer's first name and last initial only.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation records as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We keep inquiries and projection requests as long as they're useful for following up with you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we'll honor your request unless we're required to keep the information. If we ever send you marketing emails, every one will include a way to unsubscribe.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections across the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it.

Children

This website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
